The EAMCET Exam 2015 is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) on behalf of TSCHE. The EAMCET Exam 2015 will be conducted both in Andhra Pradesh and newly formed Telangana State on the same day 14-05-2015. After the bifurcation the newly formed Telangana State associated with JNTU in conducting the EAMCET exam 2015 to avoid confusion regarding the syllabus for the examination.
The format of the examination remains the same as earlier EAMCET examination. The section wise question is as follows:
The total number of questions for examination are 160. The total questions are categorized into 4 parts as
MPC Group: Maths A, Maths B, Physics and Chemistry (Each 40 Questions)
BPC Group: Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry (Each 40 Questions)
The EAMCET exam 2015 will have multiple option answers and the students should select the correct among all the options. There will be no negative marking in the examination.
The minimum qualification cut off percentage in the year 2014 was 20%. For SC/ST there was no minimum cut off marks.
Recently, the format for the EAMCET exam has been changed and the recent changes are as follows:
75% of EAMCET Marks + 25% of Intermediate marks will be considered during the counselling of the colleges.
